Mathias set up his own business at the age of 18 and has been running his own butcher’s shop with passion ever since. We process meat from our own animals and from animals raised in the region – with respect and causing as little stress as possible for both people and animals. Our guiding principle: stress-free for farmers and animals, whilst ensuring the very best quality.

Depending on availability, we offer bacon, homemade sausages, barbecue sausages, frankfurters, smoked sausages, spreadable sausage and meatloaf, as well as beef, lamb, pork, fawn and game. Just ask what’s in stock – for a snack on the balcony or as a little something to take home.

Our two flats

Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen-diner with a dining area and a private balcony: our apartments are designed so that families, two couples or friends alike can feel right at home. Everyone has their own space to retreat to, nobody has to wait for the bathroom in the morning, and in the evening you can all sit round the table together. Equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday in Sölden – from a coffee machine to free Wi-Fi.

Just a 6-minute walk to the Gaislachkogl cable car

Right in the heart of Sölden.

From the Zenz’n Hof, it’s just a 6-minute walk to the Gaislachkogl cable car – in winter, it takes you straight into the ski area with its two glaciers; in summer, it takes you up to hiking trails and mountain peaks. A supermarket, bakery and bus stop are also right nearby, whilst you can leave your car in the free car park in front of the house. This way, you can enjoy the best of both worlds: right in the thick of things, yet still at home on the farm.

Farm

Tyrolean Grey cattle, Fleckvieh cattle, mountain sheep and Graubünden Strahlen goats live right next door. Do pop in, ask us any questions and, if you’d like, try a glass of fresh cow’s milk – a taste of real farm life comes free of charge here.

Bacon, smoked sausages, sausages and meat from our own and regional animals: Mathias has been running his own butcher’s shop since he was 18. Depending on availability, you can buy these products directly from us – perfect for a snack on the balcony.
