Sölden, just the way we love it.

Whether you’re strapping on your skis in winter or coming for hiking and cycling in summer – there’s plenty to discover around Sölden. And with our apartments, you’ll have the perfect base: just a 6-minute walk to the Gaislachkogl cable car, right in the heart of the village yet quietly situated on the farm.

Sölden wasn’t always the well-known holiday resort it is today. In the past, farming shaped life in the valley; for generations, farms, mountain meadows and alpine pastures provided the basis for livelihoods. This tradition lives on to this day – including here at the Zenz’n Hof.

Our tip: Take some time now and then just to enjoy the mountains. Sometimes it’s not the big excursions that make a holiday special, but a quiet morning on the balcony, fresh mountain air and the view of the peaks. Winter in Sölden

The first gondola in the morning, sunshine on the summit platform at midday, tobogganing under floodlights in the evening: a winter’s day in Sölden is packed with highlights. And because the Gaislachkoglbahn is just a 6-minute walk away, you’ll be up the mountain in no time – and back home just as quickly in the evening.

Summer in Sölden

Hike across the alpine meadows, stop for a bite to eat at a mountain hut, and whizz down into the valley on a mountain cart: in summer, Sölden shows its most carefree side. Over 300 kilometres of hiking trails await you – and in the evening, you can watch the sunset from your balcony.

Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen-diner with a dining area and a private balcony: our apartments are designed so that families, two couples or friends alike can feel right at home. Everyone has their own space to retreat to, nobody has to wait for the bathroom in the morning, and in the evening you can all sit round the table together. Equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday in Sölden – from a coffee machine to free Wi-Fi.

Just a 6-minute walk to the Gaislachkogl cable car

Right in the heart of Sölden.

From the Zenz’n Hof, it’s just a 6-minute walk to the Gaislachkogl cable car – in winter, it takes you straight into the ski area with its two glaciers; in summer, it takes you up to hiking trails and mountain peaks. A supermarket, bakery and bus stop are also right nearby, whilst you can leave your car in the free car park in front of the house. This way, you can enjoy the best of both worlds: right in the thick of things, yet still at home on the farm.

Farm

Tyrolean Grey cattle, Fleckvieh cattle, mountain sheep and Graubünden Strahlen goats live right next door. Do pop in, ask us any questions and, if you’d like, try a glass of fresh cow’s milk – a taste of real farm life comes free of charge here.

Butcher's shop

Bacon, smoked sausages, sausages and meat from our own and regional animals: Mathias has been running his own butcher’s shop since he was 18. Depending on availability, you can buy these products directly from us – perfect for a snack on the balcony.
